The 1911â12 Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball team (also known informally as Ames) represented Iowa State University during the 1911â12 NCAA men's basketball season. The Cyclones were coached by Homer Hubbard, who was in his first season with the Cyclones. This was the final season for the Cyclones at the Margaret Hall Gymnasium in Ames, Iowa.
